So! I painted the background - top first. Next step - Paint the top flower petals; then paint the bottom background; then paint the bottom flower petals - Sort of paint as you go from top to the bottom.

Top eight petals done ... next step half or a little more than half of the middle to bottom backgraound.

All but a fourth of the background done... next step paint the five petals (that have the background done) and paint the center ... then paint the rest of the background ... and then paint the remaining 4 petals.    ... ... ...  I may paint the petals first and then finish the bottom background (I will see how it feels and which way may be easier for me.)

I changed my mind .. a litle; and lightened the petals (added more yellow to them); I then painted all but the last two petals ... and then painted the middle ... Next I will Paint the remaining petals and then the background and retouch the petals that don't feel right (I am happy with the top and almost all of the right-hand-side ones.)

I retouched some of the petals and finished all the petals.
