Van Gogh's Starry Night

	Starrynight      30" by 36" (76.2 cm by 91.5 cm)        Painted April 2011
	Van Gogh's Starry Night 29 inch by 36 inch (2nd copy - 1st one                                                                                    is in Barranquilla)  .. um .. the original is in MOMA, New York
			Drew the painting on a 30" by 36" canvas
			Did a yellow wash for the stars, moon and wheatfield; brown for the Cyprus tree and blue for the rest
			Painted the stars, the moon and parts of the wheatfield. Will let it dry a few days while I work on Turrialba2.
			Painted the top part - the first half of the top was dark blue and blue; and then the first swirl a lighter blue and white. May retouch the swirl with more white and a bit of yellow when its dry - in a week or so. So far, it looks pretty good. Will try to finish the second swirl tomorrow; that will leave the Cyprus and the bottom of the painting to be done (darker blue/purple shades).
			OK. Found one error in process - Should have painted the church and houses before doing the darker blues around it. But was too caried away with trying to do all the blues as I finished the second swirl and started towards the bottom fields.Still need to retouch the swirls with yellow and white and the wheatfields with white and blue - looks fairly good otherwise.
			Retouched all the swirls and fields with white, light and dark blue.. Looks good. Will let it dry for a week or 10 days and then touch the yellow in the fields and maybe in the swirls. Its almost done..
			Touched up the yellow colors all over - may have overdone it on the bottom right hand side.
			Retouched the yellow on the bottom right habd side - finished April 21, 2011.
