Gumweeds 4' by 3' (122 cm by 91.5 cm) Painted December 2011 Gumweeds, Bryce Canyon, Utah
	Day 1: Drew the grid and two flowers Day 2: Drew the other 5 flowers Day 2: Also drew the green leaves and other green areas
	Day 3: Painted the top one third brown background - using sienna, brown and white - worked it into the back of the flowers and leaves. Will do the flowers and leaves next then move to the middle. (Worked on the Santa Marta 2 - painting hills also today - lots of time.)
	Day 4: Painted the yellow parts of the top flowers; Day 5: Painted the green leaves stems; finished all of the brown background.
	Day 6: Finished the middle of top four flowers; also painted the yellow of the middle flowers, reworked the large green leaf a bit.
	Day 7: Finished the middle three flowers completely; Painted more of the green background - retouched the top two flowers a little bit. Will add more green - linking the loose leaf. Should be able to finish it in two sessions!
	Day 8: Finished the final flower. Will let it dry a bit before doing the green - maybe two days.
	Day 9: Finished the green background, adding a bit more of the green on both sides of the bottom. Finished Dec 31, 2011
